In The Annexe   
An open stone’s spiraling sunrise  Plays about the morning court.  With hope and thought come sunlit eyes  Bent round the pillar’s port.   
A place of haste and stormy eaves  Has housed the robin’s song  And watched the playful little leaves  Escape the thunder’s throng.   
Some will come and others, go  Of each their own discretion  All of which set under glow  Of personal obsessions.   
While standing here in equal years  My days keep running by.  An orchestra of simple fears  Have colored my night sky.

The SurrenderThrough every Spring, for eighteen years,  The sun would chase the cold away.  Through every dream that Jaego feared,  He pulled himself to light and day.   
One Spring evening, the wind came call,  The lady eve descended nigh;  The wind had whispered thoughts of fall  And the evening had seemed to sigh.   
The waves have stood and thrown their heads  Against the strand, while splashed with gold.  A scrape that’s aimed at moonlight bled  Across the sand, the bright and bold.

SunsetForsook, the day! While shedding light  Has passed me in the dead of night.  But sit I now, with waiting mind,  Imagining just how you shined.   
A brief motif, a scaled façade,  A pungent proof of pensive gods.  What have I seen? Complete reprieve  From calloused closure of the eve.   
Exude her light! Declare July!  A prism of a sunset sky.  Her sanguine hair proclaims glory;  A light, not bright, which mine can see.

Hi there. If you still actually check my page, then holy crap. I thought I'd post an explanation as to why I haven't posted anything recently. I'm actually working on re-writing Romeo & Juliet from the ground up. It's going well so far, but being that this is my first attempt at being a playwright, I'm nervous and over-think everything I manage to produce. This leads to a nasty cycle of editing, deletion and insertion of content. Also, it's a lot bigger project than I originally anticipated, and thus is taking longer. It's definitely an endurance test. But I haven't completely stopped my writing; I'll post some of the new stuff soon. Thanks for checking in. I'm impressed.

yo. sorry i took so long in getting back. nice gallery. sadly a lot of philosophical themes are way over my head :o but the poetry rolls off the tongue quite nicely and the word use is good, that much i can tell. nice job.
